Interview with Richard Feurer

Richard Feurer, poster design for a Hannes Wettstein exhibition, 1987

Researcher Sandra Bischler-Hartmann travelled to Graubuenden to conduct a filmed interview with graphic designer Richard Feurer in his studio, filmed by Mahdi Hosseingholi and Mojtaba Zharghampour. Feurer was one of the early Macintosh enthusiasts, experimenting with the computer from its release. He spoke about the transformations in graphic design brought about by this new technology and presented various projects, including posters from the early “pixel era” (bitmap graphics) as well as experiments using 3D landscape software for editorial and corporate design projects.
