Presentation at LISN, Paris-Saclay

At the invitation of Emma-Jade de Moor and the team at the Interdisciplinary Laboratory for Digital Sciences, led by Michel Beaudoin-Lafon and Wendy Mackay, Clémence Imbert presented the WYSIWYG research project at the laboratory’s weekly seminar on the Saclay campus. It was particularly stimulating to engage with this team specializing in human-computer interaction, some of whom are working on publishing issues or “creativity support tools”. Discussions centered notably on digital sovereignty and the echoes between the rise of DTP and that of AI today, as well as its potential effects on professions—both creative and non-creative. Thank you to the entire LISN team for their interest, their commitment, and their invaluable insights on the WYSIWYG paradigm as well as on the mouse as an interface.
