Presentation at UNIL, Lausanne
Nearly the entire WYSIWYG research team (Sandra Bischler-Hartmann, Julie Blanc, Clémence Imbert, and Caroll Maréchal) had the pleasure of presenting the project to students in the “Graphic Design and Screens” seminar at UNIL, at the invitation of Professor Olivier Lugon. It was an opportunity to revisit the project’s various strands, which always generate a great deal of interest and questions. Among the questions raised by the participants was the particularly paradoxical nature of these DTP technologies, designed to bypass printing professionals and ultimately adopted by those very users. The students were also struck by the possible parallels between the rise of DTP and that of AI today. The day continued with a team meeting, partly devoted to preparing for the “Graphic Design and Screens” study day, which will take place on November, 5-6, 2026.
